Iron Tide Command

Iron Tide Command asks you to think like a quartermaster. You command a fleet across a grid of islands, balancing fuel, repairs, and where to pick your battles. It's slow in the best way — the kind of game you check a few times a day and still feel engaged with.

The pinch-to-zoom map is the heart of the controls, and it's smooth. Dragging ship routes feels natural once you learn it. The tutorial is a little stiff, but once it's out of the way the interface gets out of your way too.

Because so much happens on a static map, battery use is gentle. I ran a two-hour session on a lunch break and barely noticed the drain. If you like planning more than clicking, this one rewards you.
